How much do you charge to come out to give me an estimate?We provide FREE in home estimates.
Do you have weekend hours?Yes. Our technicians are available for work on Saturdays.
Do you work after 5 PM?Unfortunately, we do not have hours after 5 PM at this time.
Are you licensed and insured?Yes and yes.
How small of jobs do you handle?Our technicians are trained to do jobs as small as rewiring an outlet or installing a ceiling fan or chandelier to large electrical projects including whole house requires and custom lighting design and installation. If you are wondering whether your project falls into the type of work we do at Generation 3 Electric please feel free to call us in the office and let one of our representative’s assist you.
Where are you located?Our main office is located at 1257 S. 26th St. in Philadelphia.
Do you do commercial work?We can do commercial work; however we are not affiliated with any unions and cannot do commercial work that requires union workers.
Can I get my work done the same day as my estimate?In most cases the answer is yes. Some projects require more time to order supplies. Speak with your technician or one of our representatives in our office to see how quickly you can expect to have your job completed.
What do you charge for an hour’s worth of work?We do not charge by the hour. When we give you your estimate we include parts and labor. This way you are not charged if your technicians run into unexpected delays. We are experts at our jobs so we know what it takes to get the job done before we start the work. As a custumer you will never receive unexpected charges.
Why was I given a 2 hour window for my appointment?Because it is hard to say how long our electricians will be at the job prior to yours we need to give you a window time for your technician’s arrival. Since we know that your time is valuable we give a small 2 hour window to help you better time manage your day.
How long have you been in business?Generation 3 Electric has been servicing Philadelphia’s electrical needs for 10 years. As the name implies this is the third generation of electrician to serve the Philly community. That gives us over 60 years of experience to draw upon.
